All About Reaching Children

The AARC farm provides several species of animals in which the children can interact with and benefit from such animal-assisted therapy sessions. Whether it is therapeutic horseback riding or reading aloud to a companion dog to develop literacy skills; each child has the opportunity to regularly interact with one or more animals of their choice to promote improvement in physical, social, emotional, and cognitive functioning.

Good News at Noon is a homeless shelter to 15 men and serves more than 150 hot meals each day. Daycare, after School activities, English classes Hispanic Church services and a weekly food pantry that distributes two to three tons of food to the needy are all part of this wonderful ministry's work that continues seven day a week

NFCC limits its assistance to those living within a specific geographic region of North Fulton County, Georgia. For residents of those zip-codes, NFCC provides a wide variety of services including a Food Pantry and a Thrift Store. They are supported by monthly canned food drives at hundreds of churches in the North Fulton County area.

No Longer Bound is primarily an addiction recovery program that offers an 10-month, faith-based Regeneration Program for adult males age 18 and up. This comprehensive program has a success rate many, many times higher than the average addiction recovery center.

Set Free Gainesville's purpose is to provide Christian spiritual recovery for formerly homeless men in a setting far from the streets of Atlanta. Set Free Gainesville offers a 90 program where men work to earn their keep. Their Gainesville facility house approximately 90 men.

Seven Bridges To Recovery
South Atlanta, GA

Seven Bridges to Recovery ministry has cared for the least, the last and the lost, those on the streets and up under the bridges, for more than seven years. They rescue our brothers and sisters off the streets and help them break the binds of homelessness, alcohol, drugs, sexual addictions, prostitution, and abuse.

X The Drake House
Roswell, GA

The Drake House offers emergency residential housing for women and children in the North Fulton County community. The Drake House has a 15 apartments where mothers and school-aged children can live rent-free for three months while receiving counseling on how to cope when they leave.

The Learning Exchange
Marietta, GA

TLE is a small school and working closely with parents, we can help each child become equipped to discover and carryout God’s purpose in their lives. Each month TLE high school students prepare hot meals or sack lunches for 100 and team up with Seven Bridges to Recovery to carry them to the homeless living on streets and under the bridges in Atlanta.

The Shepherd's Inn
Downtown Atlanta, GA

Atlanta Union Mission's men's emergency shelter located in downtown Atlanta, provides hot meals, shower facilities, clean clothes and beds for up to 218 men daily. The Shepherd's Inn also houses up to 98 men for the first phase of the residential addiction recovery program, which lasts four to six weeks.

Trinity House–Big Bethel is a residential transitional program designed to serve homeless men (many with criminal backgrounds) with issues regarding drug dependency. Big Bethel has more than 35 long-term residents.
